Our Company

BITROS CONSTRUCTION S.A. was established in 1999 and is the branch of the Group specializing in the construction and real estate development sector. In the mid 1980s the company, then called BITROS S.A., had already, in parallel with its fundamental activity, made a few real-estate transactions such as the purchase and sale of large, mainly industrial, properties.

When BITROS CONSTRUCTION was established, the real estate activity was separated from metals trading and the Group officially entered into the construction and real estate development sector.
 
The projects designed and built by BITROS CONSTRUCTION are distinguished for their hiqh quality construction, the aesthetic superiority of their facades, the functional arrangement of their internal areas and the excellent landscaping of their surroundings. However, they stand out primarily for incorporating earthquake-protection technologies developed by BITROS REBAR CENTER, which is also member of the Group.
 
PROJECTS
 
- Residential complex in Ag. Dionisios, Piraeus. The complex includes two modern seven-storey buildings having in total 38 apartments and 9 shops.
The buildings are located opposite the archaeological area which is under reconstruction, where will be developed extensive communal green spaces and utilities. The overall exploiting of the surface buildings is 4.200sq.m, with basement area 1.200sq.m which includes parking and storage spaces.
 
- Building of 6 luxury apartments on private land in N. Smyrni.
 
- House (villa) of high quality in Psychico Athens

- Building with two luxury apartments on private land, in Ag. Thoma Maroussi.

- Modern residential complex "NEFELI" in "NEAPOLI", CHALKIDA. Located within the city limits, includes 60 residences, large communal pool, extensive public parks and it is developed on a plot area of 5,677 sq.m., part of a larger area of 13.754sq.m., which is property of the Company.
The complex includes 5 three-storey apartment buildings with free ground floor (pilotis), comfortable storage space and underground parking. The overall exploiting of the residential area is 4.930 sq.m.
 
- Residential complex of high standards "ARTEMIS" in 'NEAPOLI", CHALKIDA. Located within the city limits, includes 82 houses, a store to serve the residents, large communal pool, extensive public parks and is expanding on land surface of 8.077 sq.m., which abuts the residential complex "NEFELI" and is part of a larger area 13.754 sq.m., which is property of the Company.
The complex "ARTEMIS" includes 7 three-storey apartment buildings with free ground floor (pilotis) and comfortable underground storage and parking. The overall exploiting of the residential area is 6.460 sq.m.
The construction of the two residential complexes "NEFELI" and "ARTEMIS" was instrumental in upgrading the district of "Neapolis" in Chalkida, which also features a new modern school, gymnasium and center for the elders, which adjoin the residential complexes of the Company. Also the residential complexes, "NEFELI" and "ARTEMIS" adjacent to an old camp which has been moved and the area will be formed to communal green space and playgrounds.
The project of constructing these residential complexes "NEFELI" and "ARTEMIS" has an innovate character for the city of Chalkida, not only due to the size of the complexes but mainly for the special architectural features, the high level of infrastructure and the large area of communal spaces fully formed at Company’s expenses.
 
 
- Within the limits of Ekali and N. Erythrea, the Company constructed the modern residential complex "MELIA" that extends in three plots of total area 4.061sq.m. Includes thirteen (13) high standards residenses and two swimming pools. Eight (8) of these residences belongs to the Company.  The residences are:
The residents of the four apartments and eight duplex ones have right to use the large communal pool.
The particular characteristics of the residential complex "MELIA" are: antiseismic structure with application of antiseismic reinforcement "THORAX", the aesthetics of the facades, the use of modern European specifications’ materials, the upgraded housing equipment, the complete configuration and planting of gardens surrounding the houses.
 
- At "Ano Mera" on the south side of Mykonos Island, at "Elia", the Company has built, in a private land, 15 high quality holiday villas, situated within 150m – 200m from the cosmopolitan beach of "Elia", with excellent sea view, some of which feature a private pool.
Also in that area, it has planned to build nine additional holiday villas on a land owned by the Company.

The excellent location of the residences on the rock of 'Elia', the stunning views to the sea, the high quality construction, the functional layout of interior and exterior spaces and the aesthetic aspects that blends with the natural and structural environment of Mykonos are the characteristics of these high standards villas, which are built or will be by the Company and they addressed to demanding guests providing a high level quality of life.
